Design Engineer

Role Overview: As a Design Engineer/Modeler at Structures Online (SOL), you will be responsible for preparing wireframes, connections, and models of steel structures using TEKLA software. Your role will involve reviewing and incorporating approver's comments, ensuring compliance with various codes and standards, coordinating work flow within the team, and creating reports and final packages for client submissions. You will play a crucial part in the structural design and detailing process, contributing to the success of various projects. Key Responsibilities: - Study scope of work, specifications, designs, and clients" standards. - Prepare wireframes and connections of steel structures using TEKLA software. - Review approver's comments and address post-review queries. - Ensure compliance with AISC, AWS, OSHA, and IBC codes throughout the modeling process. - Coordinate workflow within the team and raise requests for information (RFI). - Generate CNC, XML, KSS, ABOM, bolt lists, and other necessary reports. - Compile the final package for submission to the client. Qualifications Required: - Excellent knowledge of AISC and TEKLA software. - Educational Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B. Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
