Design Engineer -Forging

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing team for

  cost estimation

  and preparation of

  technical proposals

  .
• Create detailed

  2D drawings and 3D models

  of forging components using CAD tools such as

  Inventor, SolidWorks, UG NX, DFOM

  , etc.
• Conduct

  feasibility studies

  , including forging reduction ratio calculations, material utilization analysis, and cut-weight calculations.
• Design

  forging dies, tooling, and fixtures

  in line with customer requirements and industry standards.
• Prepare

  complete die layouts

  ,

  Bill of Materials (BOM)

  , and

  process flow charts

  for forging operations.
• Coordinate with the

  production team during trials

  and provide technical support to resolve die/mould-related issues.
• Review and interpret

  customer drawings, specifications, standards, and quality requirements

  .
• Maintain

  revision control

  and proper documentation of all design-related records.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

• Proficiency in

Qualification & Experience

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech
