Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other design and product engineers to support the projects.
• Strong understanding of sheet metal part design, casting part design and machined
  

• Sound knowledge of GD&T and its applications in solving engineering problems
• Prepare/maintenance of Engineering documentation, bill of material and change
  

• Collaborate and communicate with cross functional teams and project partners.
• Provides design support for current production parts and products.
• Identify areas requiring analysis. Perform design analysis and calculations with accuracy.
• Follow good engineering practices and develop practical solutions
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering.
  

Essential Skills

• Having Windchill/SAP experience will be added advantage
• Hands on experience in NPD / VAVE / Sustenance projects.
• Proficiency in creating part drawings, exploded view drawings, GA drawings and
  

• Good knowledge on Bill of Materials.
• Good Oral and Written communication skills.
• Must be able to adjust changing demands, priorities and objectives.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to conduct business in English
• Proactive, self-motivated individual with ability to prioritize multiple tasks, giving high quality output
• Conversant with Microsoft Office tools – Word; Excel; PPT
• Team player and enthusiastic learner
  

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience after graduation, in the Engineering
