Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design innovative, ergonomic, and aesthetic outdoor furniture products
Convert concepts into technical drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks/AutoCAD/KeyShot
Ensure performance, weather resistance, and structural integrity in all designs
Collaborate with production, marketing, and vendors to finalize prototypes
Conduct BOM, costing, and manufacturing feasibility checks
Maintain a design database and manage version control of products

Key Skills Required:

Strong in 3D design software: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, or Fusion 360
Knowledge of materials (metal, wicker, fabric, wood, etc.) used in outdoor furniture
Understanding of manufacturing processes like welding, powder coating, upholstery, etc.
Basic engineering calculations for strength, stability, and ergonomics
Attention to detail & creative mindset with a bias for execution

Preferences (Bonus if you have):

Prior experience in outdoor or modular furniture
Knowledge of IP/Patent filing & design registration
Exposure to global design trends (Italy, Germany, Scandinavian design)
Ability to visit manufacturing units and vendors for on-ground execution
Fast prototyping and concept-to-market experience
