Design Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Shrirampur, responsible for developing detailed designs, overseeing fabrication processes, and creating mock-ups for various projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanical design, fabrication techniques, and prototype development to ensure successful project execution.

✅ Key Responsibilities

·      Develop and review detailed engineering drawings and specifications for fabrication and assembly.

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into feasible design solutions.

·      Prepare and oversee mock-up creation to validate design concepts and functionality.

·      Coordinate with fabrication workshops to ensure designs are accurately manufactured according to specifications.

·      Conduct design modifications based on mock-up evaluations and testing results.

·      Ensure all designs comply with safety, quality, and industry standards.

·      Manage project timelines and deliverables related to design, fabrication, and mock-up activities.

·      Document design processes, modifications, and fabrication procedures for future reference.

·      Assist in troubleshooting fabrication issues and implementing corrective actions.

·      Maintain a strong focus on cost-effectiveness and efficient use of materials.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• Proven experience in design engineering, fabrication, and mock-up development.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Experience working in manufacturing or heavy engineering environments.
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Hands-on experience with prototype development and testing.
