Design Engineer

Responsible for creating detailed designs for mechanical systems, components, and products using engineering principles and CAD software.
Responsible for conducting design reviews with stakeholders to ensure that designs are meeting project goals.Responsible for conducting feasibility studies to determine whether a proposed design is practical, cost-effective, and can be manufactured using available technology.Developing Product / Part / component designs from scratch.Sampling different materials, manufacturing processes, design tolerances, and other factors to find the best ones that suit the new product brief.Delivering product specifications and procedures to the manufacturing team for production purposes.Presenting rough design drafts for client approval.Responsible for developing prototypes using 3D Printing / Laser Cutting / CNC and testing them to ensure that they meet all specifications and requirements.Maintaining documentation related to designs, including drawings, specificationsConduct training/presentations/workshops

Understanding of engineering principles and be proficient in using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion360 or any other Software.
We need Design Engineers who have worked in SUPRA or BAJA teams in their college tenure. Knowledge of material properties, manufacturing processes and standard mechanical components. Should have a keen eye for detail and be able to ensure that designs meet all specifications and requirements. Be familiar with industry standards and regulations, as well as emerging technologies and trends in mechanical design. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Excellent math, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Should have a thirst for knowledge and be committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in their field.
