Skills :
1. Proven experience in the design and engineering of solar PV systems, preferably in an EPC environment
2. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power electronics, structural engineering principles, and mechanical components relevant to ESS installations
3. Proficiency in engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, Solid Work, Eplan, PVsyst, PVSOL, STAAD, or equivalent
4. Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, such as NEC, IBC, ASCE, and IEEE, governing solar energy projects
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
6. Project management experience and professional engineering licensure (PE) are desirable but not required
7. Commitment to sustainable development and renewable energy solutions
Job Requirements :
The Design Engineer will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of Energy Storage System projects within our Engineering, Procurement, and Construction division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical, civil/foundation, or mechanical engineering, with a passion for renewable energy and sustainable development. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Design Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of solar projects from concept to commissioning.
