Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Design Engineer to join our engineering and product development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, improving, and developing 2D/3D models, engineering drawings, and technical solutions using advanced CAD tools. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support design, analysis, and product development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 2D and 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings as per standards.
• Perform structural and mechanical Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate and improve designs.
• Create and modify product designs using SolidWorks (primary) and AutoCAD.
• Work on prototyping, DFM/DFT, product testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability.
• Review designs for compliance with specifications, safety, and quality requirements.

Required Skills Qualifications:

• Bachelor s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, Sheet Metal, Weldments, Simulation).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and other design/analysis tools.
• Hands-on experience in FEA, GDT, and engineering standards.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in manufacturing or product-based industries.
• Knowledge of PDM/PLM tools.
