Job Purpose Overview: The Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of batching plants, ensuring the design meets the required technical standards, and is optimized for manufacturing and assembly. The role requires close collaboration with production teams and other departments to ensure the smooth implementation of design into production. Key Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of batching plants, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Create detailed design documentation, including 3D models, drawings, and specifications. Work closely with the production team to resolve design issues and improve manufacturability. Conduct design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes. Ensure designs are cost-effective and optimized for production efficiency. Secondary Responsibilities: Stay up-to-date with new developments in batching plant technology and incorporate relevant innovations into designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, procurement, and quality to ensure smooth project execution. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, driving enhancements in design quality and reducing time-to-market. Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing equipment for batching plants or similar heavy machinery sectors.Proficiency in Solid edge, AutoCAD is mandatory Strong knowledge of batching plant systems and components. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
