We are expanding our capabilities in furniture fittings and are looking for a passionate Design & Development Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon.

Role:

As a Design & Development Engineer, you will lead and support the design and development of innovative furniture fitting products (such as hinges, slides, locks, brackets, etc.), from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new furniture fittings based on customer requirements and market trends

• Work on 2D/3D CAD modeling using software like SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Creo

• Material selection, tolerance stack-up, and product validation

• Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams for prototype and final production

• Conduct testing and performance validation for mechanical strength and usability

• Stay updated with industry innovations and propose new concepts

• Create BOMs, technical documentation, and product specifications

• Support vendor development for manufacturing precision parts

Key Requirements:

• B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design

• Minimum 3 years of experience in design and development of furniture fittings or related hardware

• Proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting software (SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, die-casting

• Good understanding of materials like steel, aluminum, plastic

• Detail-oriented, innovative, and team player mindset
