Design & Development Engineer

Role Overview: As a Design & Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing, designing, prototyping, and enhancing products to meet market demands and customer expectations. Your strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and passion for innovation will be key in ensuring the success of product design and development projects. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop new products through all stages from concept to production. - Create 2D/3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation. - Conduct feasibility studies, material selection, and tolerance analysis. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product enhancements. - Perform design validation, prototyping, and testing for functionality and reliability. - Modify existing products to align with customer requirements and cost goals. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. - Provide support to manufacturing and suppliers during production. - Stay updated on the latest design tools, materials, and technologies. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering or a related field. - Minimum of 4 years of experience in product design and development. - Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. - Knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA, DFM, DFA, and design validation processes. - Experience in prototyping, testing, and manufacturing processes. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. - Good communication and teamwork abilities.
