Job Description

Deputy Manager - SME Collections
Job Purpose
This position is open with a leading finance company. Duties and Responsibilities

Achieve collection targets of the assigned area, ensuring PL Roll Back targets, PSBL collection targets, and meeting the target on cost of collections.

Control delinquency and focus on write-off accounts.

Ensure documented feedback is maintained.

Coordinate with the legal team to execute legal tools such as 138/arbitration summons and warrants.

Ensure compliance with audit queries.

Ensure adequate "Feet on Street" availability, area-wise, bucket-wise, and segment-wise.

Manage productivity by setting parameters for Collection Officers, Agencies, and DMAs; monitor performance against set parameters; and conduct weekly reviews with collection executives.

Ensure background and reference checks of agencies and DMAs being appointed.

Constantly evaluate DMAs and agencies.

Identify and manage training needs for Collection Executives.

Support collection officers in legal and police issues.

Drive champion collection efforts successfully in the field.

Visit random customers as necessary.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Graduation with 3 to 5 years, or MBA with 3 years of relevant experience.

People management skills.

Demonstrated success and achievement orientation.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong negotiation skills.

Bias for action and driving results in a high-performance environment.

Demonstrated ability to lead from the front.

Excellent relationship management skills.

Affirmative nature, strong leadership skills, clarity of thought, and perseverance.

Exceptionally high motivational levels and a self-starter attitude.

Working knowledge of computers.
