Job Description

As a Procurement Manager in the healthcare industry, your role involves overseeing the capital procurement of medical and non-medical equipment, managing vendor relationships, inventory control, process improvement, and demand planning and forecasting. Your responsibilities will include: - Procuring medical equipment and non-medical items for capital expenditure. - Managing Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts (CMC) and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC). - Handling import/export documentation and coordinating with Custom House Agents for timely clearance and delivery. - Ensuring project execution within agreed timelines and approved budget. - Arranging service support from vendors and researching opportunities to reduce costs. - Negotiating contracts, reviewing cost-saving opportunities, and assessing supplier performance. - Preparing purchase orders, maintaining supplier database, and documenting purchase records. - Training new employees on purchasing processes and system usage. - Building and managing strong supplier relationships and facilitating effective communication. - Generating monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports on Capex expenses. - Coordinating with approving authority for Purchase Order (PO) approval and verifying invoices. - Collaborating with third-party logistics for supply and delivery coordination. - Leading and developing the team through coaching, performance management, and training. - Conducting regular meetings with the unit team and providing solutions for routine activities. - Managing documentation as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for records and audits. - Fulfilling any other duties as required by the organization. You are required to have: - A minimum Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in Supply Chain/Operations/Healthcare Management. - 6 to 8 years of experience in Healthcare Supply Chain/Procurement/Inventory Management. - Good communication skills. - Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
