Job Description Deputy Manager, Logistics | Colorshine Category Details Position Title Location Deputy Manager Logistics Colorshine Plant, Andhra Pradesh Department Reporting To Supply Chain / Logistics Head of Logistics (HOD) Educational Qualification Experience Bachelors in Logistics / Supply Chain / Commerce 710 years of logistics experience with strong exposure in domestic movements, exports, warehousing & reporting Key Responsibilities Area Description Internal Movements External Movements Documentation Plan & monitor plant-to-plant, plant-to-warehouse, and inter-departmental material movements with zero delays Ensure smooth dispatches to customers, dealers, and export shipments; coordinate with transporters, CHA, and authorities Oversee accurate preparation & verification of LR, invoices, e-way bills, export documentation, and statutory compliance Assist HOD in forecasting material requirements, transport needs, and warehouse capacity; provide data-driven recommendations Prepare and share daily, weekly & monthly reports on transport cost, turnaround time, inventory levels, and service KPIs Act as first responder in case of logistics disruptions; coordinate with vendors and internal teams to restore continuity Ensure timely material availability, stock accuracy, and warehouse space utilization aligned with production & sales Track and control freight, demurrage, and warehousing costs; support tendering with accurate data inputs Ensure timely HRMS/ERP/WMS updates; maintain 100% accuracy in entries, reports, and dashboards Strategy & Forecasting Reporting & Statistics Crisis Support Inventory Coordination Cost Optimization System & Accuracy Ownership & Availability Take complete responsibility for logistics tasks assigned; remain available for urgent requirements and last-mile issue resolution Key Skills & Competencies (Must-Have) Skill Area Requirement Operational Excellence Documentation Mastery Strategic Thinking Accuracy & Detailing Proactiveness Strong command over internal & external logistics processes Expertise in domestic & export documentation, statutory requirements, and audit readiness Ability to forecast requirements, plan resources, and support long-term logistics strategy High precision in reporting, data validation, and documentation Anticipates bottlenecks, suggests improvements, and prevents disruptions Always available, accountable, and dependable in handling responsibilities Skilled in preparing MIS, dashboards, and statistical analysis for management decisions Effective coordination across functions and vendors; clear written and verbal communication Ability to guide supervisors, monitor team efficiency, and resolve issues quickly Ownership Mindset Reporting & Analytics Communication Team Handling
