Exide Energy Solutions Limited is investing $500+ Mn dollars to setup Indias first Giga plant to manufacture Lithium-Ion Cells at Devanahalli Industrial Area in Bengaluru. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Deputy Manager - Legal to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a law graduate with a CS Inter qualification who possesses strong communication, drafting, and negotiation skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing legal documentation, ensuring compliance, and supporting various corporate governance functions. Role & responsibilities: Legal : Commercial Contracts : -Draft, review and finalise commercial contracts and other legal documents. Ensure that all documents comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Legal Research : Conduct legal research to stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting the organization. Provide legal opinions and advice based on research findings. Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and ensure compliance across the company in adherence to the legal and regulatory requirements. Document Management : Maintain an organized system for document storage and retrieval. Track changes and updates to legal documents and maintain version control. Collaborate with attorneys, auditors, and other internal & external stakeholders 2. Secretarial: Prepare, review, and finalize documentation related to board meetings, shareholders meetings, and committee meetings. Ensure all records are accurate and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements. MCA E-filings and updating statutory registers. Qualifications: Law graduate with a CS Inter qualification. 4+ years experience in a firm or in-house. Ability to independently manage and review commercial contracts. In-depth knowledge of legal principles, Companies Act 2013, contract law, and relevant legislation. Excellent drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with legal and compliance software and tools. Adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality.
