Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing operational support in various accounting activities to ensure that financial data is maintained accurately and in a timely manner as per the standard operating procedures (SOPs) laid down. Key Responsibilities: - Bill passing of all inward and outward material, transporters, and service bills - Reconciliation of inventory ERP sub-modules to ensure the correctness of accounts - Disbursement and reconciliation of cash, as well as entry of cash vouchers in the system - Reconciliation of receiving inventory accounts, AP trial balance with GL control accounts, and AP accrual accounts - Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statement, GL accounts, vendor details, etc. - Detailed tracking of addition & deletion of assets - Calculation of depreciation in the ERP system and posting it accordingly - Implementation of fixed assets management and conducting physical verification of assets as per instructions - Preparation of trial balance for monthly/annual closing, closing stock (of finished goods, stores, spares), and vendor balance report - Compilation of WIP & FG for monthly results - Preparation of provisions for monthly accounts - Reconciliation of AP trial balance with GL control accounts - Compilation of notes to the accounts - Preparation of stock transfer report for elimination - Coordination with the taxation department to align books with monthly/quarterly GST returns and claim GST credit regularly based on reconciliation to be done by tax resource - Ensuring compliance with direct taxes such as TDS - Coordinating with suppliers/vendors and materials department for quarterly reconciliation of their accounts Qualifications Required: - 7-10 years of total experience - M. Com./CA Inter/Any Post Grad. with Finance specialization - Desired Industry experience in indirect taxation, TDS, manufacturing processes, ERP & MS Office proficiency, computer skills, communication skills, proactive initiative-taking ability, and ERP knowledge (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description),
