Deputy Manager-DMS

You will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining the Distributor Management System (DMS) in the FMCG sector. Your role will involve collaborating with IT and software vendors to ensure system integrity, updates, and issue resolution. You will also be required to train distributor staff on DMS usage, processes, and reporting requirements, ensuring smooth onboarding and adherence to SOPs. Monitoring daily data uploads, stock reconciliations, billing, and inventory flows will be crucial to ensure data accuracy and completeness for real-time business insights. You will be expected to generate various reports, including sales, stock, and performance reports, to support decision-making processes. Additionally, providing dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to regional and national sales managers will be part of your responsibilities. Conducting regular audits of distributor transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and identifying gaps for corrective actions will be essential. You will need to liaise with sales, finance, and supply chain teams to align DMS operations with business goals effectively. Acting as the primary contact for DMS-related issues across departments and managing relationships with DMS software providers to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met will be vital. The ideal candidate should possess strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users. A deep understanding of DMS systems and related technologies, along with the capability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions, is required. You should also be proficient in resolving technical issues related to the DMS, managing implementation projects, and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Proficiency in relevant software like ERP, CRM, and other business applications is preferred. Furthermore, the role may require extensive traveling as and when required to fulfill job responsibilities effectively.,
