Deputy Manager - Commercial commodity

Job Title: Deputy Manager Commercial Sourcing (Commodity Management)

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supply Base Development

• Identify and develop suppliers for assigned commodities.
  
• Execute sourcing projects, including NDA, GTC, SQA & LTSA agreements.
  
• Monitor supplier development and maintain sourcing documentation.
  

2. RFQ Management

• Prepare RFQ packages with drawings/specifications.
  
• Float RFQs, obtain quotations/feasibility, and prepare quote comparisons.
  
• Follow up on counteroffers and finalize commercial agreements.
  

3. Part Development (PPAP / Project-based)

• Coordinate Technical Agreements with Supplier, SQE, and Engineering teams.
  
• Lead part development kickoff and monitor On-Time delivery.
  
• Track development progress, conduct GAP reviews, and escalate delays.
  

4. Supplier Development & Management

• Negotiate with suppliers to meet BU cost targets.
  
• Drive quality, delivery, and cost improvement projects.
  
• Ensure capacity/capability enhancement and coordinate technical reviews.
  

5. Supplier Cost Competitiveness

• Perform cost estimation and benchmarking.
  
• Analyze quotations, achieve cost targets (Part + Capex), and maintain pricing data.
  
• Execute cost-saving projects and meet project milestones.
  

6. Pricing Framework & Compliance

• Sign off pricing methodology agreements and GTC/SQA with strategic suppliers.
  
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with sourcing policies.
  

7. Commodity Ownership & Reporting

• Conduct commodity analysis, budgeting, and capacity planning (6 months to 3 years).
  
• Track and resolve supplier issues; lead quarterly supplier interface meetings.
  
• Maintain MIS for commodity and sourcing projects.
