The Position:

Job Summary:

To manage and execute civil construction projects within the site, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, while adhering to timelines and budgets.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Execution Supervision:

Plan, coordinate, and supervise civil construction activities including foundations, structures, roads, drainage, and other infrastructure.

Ensure timely completion of civil works as per project schedule.

Design Technical Review:

Review civil drawings, structural designs, and BOQs.

Coordinate with consultants and contractors for design finalization and execution.

Quality Safety Compliance:

Monitor construction quality and ensure adherence to industry standards and company specifications.

Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.

Vendor Contractor Management:

Evaluate and finalize civil contractors and vendors.

Monitor contractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.

Budgeting Cost Control:

Prepare cost estimates and monitor project budgets.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Documentation Reporting:

Maintain project documentation including daily progress reports, inspection records, and material reconciliation.

Provide regular updates to senior management on project status.

The Person:

Educational Qualifications Experience

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory)

8-10 years of experience in industrial civil construction, preferably in chemical or process industries

Knowledge of construction codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other project management tools
