Role Overview

The Deputy General Manager – Sales will lead sales operations across assigned projects and take full accountability for revenue generation, pipeline strength and customer acquisition. The role requires a performance-driven leader who can build and manage a high-efficiency sales function while ensuring consistent customer experience and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve project-wise and overall business targets

Lead, manage and motivate the sales team with structured KPIs, reviews and performance monitoring

Build and maintain a healthy pipeline across lead sourcing, follow-up, site visits, negotiations and closures

Drive channel partner, broker and corporate relationship networks to maximize conversion opportunities

Plan and monitor pre-sales and post-sales activities to enhance customer satisfaction and brand trust

Implement disciplined CRM usage for lead tracking, reporting, forecasting and funnel transparency

Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to support pricing and value-proposition decisions

Coordinate with marketing, CRM, finance and project execution teams for seamless customer journey

Lead commercial discussions and contractual closure for large ticket and corporate deals

Represent the organisation in channel partner meets, corporate events and industry networking forums

Prepare weekly/monthly MIS reports for senior management on performance, risks and corrective actions

Required Skills and Competencies

Strong sales leadership in real estate with demonstrable ability to achieve revenue-driven outcomes

Excellent negotiation, presentation and client-relationship management skills

Proven ability to build, train and manage high-performance sales teams

Target-oriented mindset with strong execution discipline and ownership of results

Proficiency in CRM tools, data-driven reporting and sales funnel analytics

Ability to collaborate across internal departments and resolve cross-functional blockers

Strong stakeholder management with brokers, channel partners, corporates and HNIs

High levels of integrity and customer-centric approach to commitments and engagements

Strong written and verbal communication skills
