The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing standard costing, inventory control, and cost optimization initiatives. Location: Talegaon(Jadhavwadi Navlakh Umbre), Pune Experience: 9-15 years Industry: Manufacturing Department: Finance & Accounts Role & responsibilities 1. Cost Control & Standard Costing Simulate and calculate standard costs in compliance with Group policies. Monitor, analyze, and report cost variances; identify and explain deviations from budget. Maintain accurate cost accounting and production order tracking. Update standard production costs semi-annually and support costing during CRP activities. Analyze product-level and customer-level margins for strategic decisions. Automate cost reporting via tools like Power BI, Management Reporter, and AX. 2. Inventory Control Propose and update stock policies quarterly in collaboration with the supply chain team. Conduct cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and monitor stock adjustments. Analyze and report slow-moving and obsolete inventory for write-offs or disposal. 3. Cost Reduction & Efficiency Improvement Collaborate with production and operations teams to implement cost-reduction strategies. Monitor industrial saving plans and validate actual benefits realized. 4. Financial Reporting & Plant Controlling Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing of cost and inventory transactions. Update of the standard production costs for CRP activity at least twice a year. Ensure Accounting of Factory expenses to be on-time and with proper posting to its Financial Dimensions Ensure that actual production costs are properly allocated and accounted for. Calculate and simulate standard costs. Oversee cost accounting processes to accurately determine the cost of manufacturing products or goods. Analyze cost data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve cost efficiency. Implement and maintain inventory valuation methods and controls. Compute monthly manufacturing costs by product. Analyze deviations between actual and standard costs in Factory P&L, leading production orders review with Operations (production, supply chain). Analyze margins by Customer and Products. Update Budgeted Cost once a year. Provide Costing analysis for couplers (cost per model) and identify productivity improvements thanks to Standard cost monitoring and simulations. Automate the reporting thanks to Power BI, Management reporter and AX reports. 2. Inventory Control Preparation and Propose Stock Policy with the help of Supply Chain every quarter. Initiate the inventory cycle count process, analyze discrepancies and adjustments. Monitor stock adjustments. Manage financial and operational controls and metrics, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of monthly financial/yearly statements, forecasts, and analysis. Animate and coordinate the Factory P&L report review, communication, and cost savings action plan. Prepares monthly "Statement of Goods Manufactured" for Couplers and Threads, analysis of variances vs. STD and monitor the back on track action plan.
