Description
This role is responsible for managing various functions and processes to ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the business. Key areas include store operations, sales and marketing, inventory management, warehouse (WH) operations, supply chain logistics, store environment, visual merchandising, and customer service. Responsibilities: 1. Store Operations & Sales Management: • Oversee the daily operations of pharmacy retail stores. • Ensure seamless execution of all operational activities, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and customer service. • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets. • Establish desktop procedures to drive daily, weekly, and monthly management routines. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the customer base. • Mentor and guide the sales team to enhance their performance and improve customer satisfaction. • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, healthcare professionals, and other key stakeholders. 2. Compliance: • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies. • Collaborate with regulatory affairs teams to stay updated on pharmaceutical regulations and ensure compliance. 3. New Initiatives: • Lead the evaluation and implementation of new business opportunities, products, or services. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, plan, and implement innovative initiatives. • Evaluate market trends and identify opportunities for new products or services. • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry developments and competitor activities. 4. Inventory Management: • Work closely with the warehouse team to monitor stock levels and ensure product availability in stores. • Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. 5. Warehouse Supply Chain: • Oversee and optimize the warehouse supply chain to ensure timely and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical products. • Implement best practices for inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics. • Collaborate with suppliers to maintain strong relationships and negotiate favourable terms. 6. Team Leadership: • Supervise, motivate, and develop a high-performing team within the sales and supply chain departments. • Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide ongoing coaching for professional growth. • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture. 7. Strategic Planning: • Contribute to the development and refinement of overall business strategy in collaboration with senior management. • Provide insights and recommendations based on market trends, customer feedback, and performance metrics. 8. Data Analysis: • Utilize data analytics tools to gather insights and make informed decisions. • Monitor and analyse sales performance, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics. • Generate reports to provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
