Job Description

Role Title: Deputy General Manager (Technical Accounting) Purpose of the Role: To ensure closure of all technical accounting matters including GAT checklists for TML Group including JLR and other subsidiaries in the Group. Job Responsibilities: Preparation of accounting memo/note for new transaction for TML and subsidiaries and monitoring of GAT issues for all subsidiaries including Liasioning with auditors for smooth closure of all accounting matters. Coordination with group companies auditors to ensure consistency in accounting positions taken Preparation of accounting matters deck for audit committee for Quarterly/Annual reporting considering all critical matters post alignment with auditors. Review of JLR/TMLHS quarterly/annual financials along with smooth transition of any work form JLR. Special Projects coordination and support – M&A etc. for accounting Working with business on new / changes in business processes Implementation of Accounting standards and other regulatory changes in accounting/reporting. Stakeholder Profiles & Nature of Interactions: Internal: TML Functions i.e Plant, Treasury, Legal, Secretarial and Subsidiaries in the Group External Statutory Auditors, External Valuer Desired Candidate Profile Chartered Accountant with 6 to 8 years of post-qualifications experience, Diploma in IFRS Skills & Competencies: Financial Reporting Consolidation IFRS Ind AS Singapore GAAP etc. Show more Show less
