Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Lead and guide a team of Development engineers and Supplier Technical Assistance Engineers to achieve project goals.
Manage development, quality, and delivery timelines for BIW & structural assemblies, including TSO, QS, VOB, TKO, MRD, and skin panels.
Collaborate with other commodity leads, COE/ DVP(testing)/ SSU/ Quality/ SCM for new product development, capacity expansion and IMCR activity.
Report progress, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders.
Ensure lessons learned are incorporated into new product development and establish packaging agreements and supply chain conditions.

Qualifications

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering

General Requirements

Extensive knowledge in BIW sheet metal, die design, welding technology, fixturing, and supplier management, along with RM selection and steel grade applications.
