Business Overview Aditya Birla Group has a strong presence in the building solutions sector through its cement flagship, UltraTech Cement Limited. The USD 8.4 billion building solutions powerhouse, UltraTech, is the third largest cement producer in the world (outside of China), with a total grey cement capacity of 154.86 MTPA. UltraTech has operations in four countries — India, UAE, Bahrain, and Sri Lanka. It has 24 integrated manufacturing units, 33 grinding units, one clinkerisation unit and 8 bulk packaging terminals. In the white cement segment, UltraTech is present in the market under the brand Birla White. It has one white cement unit and three wall care putty units, with a current capacity of 1.98 MTPA. With 316+ Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) plants in 139 cities, UltraTech is the largest manufacturer of concrete in India. It also has a slew of specialty concretes that meet specific needs of discerning customers. Key Responsibilities Plant Availability: Ensure stable operation and optimize heat and power consumption. Quality Consistency: Monitor clinker production to maintain quality and customer satisfaction. Cost Control: Manage production budget, S&S, and RPM for spare part optimization. Process Improvement: Plan and implement process upgrades for safety, productivity, and quality. SHE & Sustainability: Prioritize safety, health, environment, and sustainability. System Management: Oversee IMS implementation to boost productivity and safety. People Development: Foster a productive and growth-oriented work culture. Requirements : Prior experience in Cement industry is desired, if not available then non cement (metal/chemical) with experience of 11-13 years Reports to : Function Head - Technical Reported by : Section Heads from the department Unit Brief : The role will be based out of one of our Cement manufacturing locations.
