Department Head Mine Operations

As the Head of Business Operations Planning at a top mining company in India, you will be responsible for driving a global strategy with a local approach. Your main focus will be to establish a robust Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to enhance collaboration between sales and operations teams. Your key responsibilities will include optimizing inventory management, aligning with logistics functions, and leveraging digital technologies to streamline operations. You will also lead initiatives for setting up global warehouses with silo truck facilities, implementing best practices, and ensuring efficiency and growth in the supply chain. This leadership role emphasizes innovation and continuous improvement for sustainable success. To be successful in this role, you should have 15-18 years of experience in operations planning and supply chain management. You should have expertise in managing inbound and outbound logistics, analytics, digital systems and processes, vendor development, international warehousing, and compliance in multi-country operations. Proven experience in team management and leadership is essential. This position reports to the CEO of Specialty Alumina & Utkal and involves working closely with the supply chain team members to drive operational excellence and strategic growth.,
