GM - Cement Operations (limestone)

In this role at the USD 8.4 billion building solutions powerhouse, your focus will be on ensuring quality, quantity, and cost control in limestone dispatch and operations. You will guide land procurement, resolve encroachment issues, and implement cost-effective short- and long-term development plans in mine development. Additionally, overseeing pit design and production planning to meet plant requirements will be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring legal compliance with relevant authorities, implementing safety and environmental plans, and enforcing safety, health, and environmental standards will also be key aspects of your role. Driving IMS and system adoption for productivity and safety improvement, as well as developing and managing the team for optimal performance and growth, are crucial responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with teams to ensure quality, quantity, and cost control in limestone dispatch and operations. - Guide land procurement, resolve encroachment, and implement cost-effective short- and long-term development plans. - Oversee pit design and production planning to meet plant requirements. - Ensure legal compliance with relevant authorities and implement safety and environmental plans. - Enforce safety, health, and environmental standards. - Drive IMS and system adoption to improve productivity and safety. - Develop and manage the team for optimal performance and growth. Qualifications Required: - 11-13 years of experience in the mining industry (Limestone). - Education: BE/BTech Mining. First Class Manager Certificate.
