Job Description

The purpose of the Associate Director, Delivery Lead role is to lead the end-to-end delivery of manufacturing relevant applications within a program called SpotOn which requires working closely with development teams, as we'll as advocating existing solutions and creating roadmaps for the solutions in the portfolio
You will be ensuring development runs smoothly, driving continuous process improvements, cooperating with various teams along the solution delivery value chain
Supporting project and solution delivery managers with content for meetings and team events
You will interact with all relevant stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery to agreed design standards
The typical stakeholders are site leadership teams, program managers, developers, DevOps, Security, Infrastructure teams, Platform support teams, Quality assurance team members as we'll as other Product Owners

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Understand the requirements of manufacturing sites and be able to present existing solutions, as we'll as identifying new use cases for potential new developments.
Design and manage the development of modular, reusable, elegantly designed and maintainable software that supports the organization as we'll as strategic initiatives.
Prepare roadmap for the products that you are responsible of and be lookout on the potential new users from different manufacturing sites.
Present ongoing activities to higher management to get buy-in from the management for potential scope changes.
Collaborate extensively with your colleagues across Security, Compliance, Engineering, Product Management, and Business Management.

Key Performance Indicators

Committed roadmaps are followe'd and designs are signed off by Domain and Data architects a we'll as business.
On time delivery of committed applications and enhancements that are able to achieve benefits planned.
Demand planning is executed in time and successful kick-off and ramp-down of projects after implementation.
Ensure cooperation and support for external and internal developers.
Launch of innovative technology solutions across Novartis at scale.
Operations stability and effective risk management.
Feedback on customer experience.

Minimum Requirements

10+ years of prior IT experience in a professional environment, preferably worked with OT systems and understanding of data analytics products/capabilities
Strong knowledge of automation systems and IT infrastructure
Experience in customer facing IT roles and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with GMP regulations and compliance standards
Preferred experience with Data Analytics solutions.
Proficient in Agile, Disciplined Agile as we'll as Waterfall delivery concepts.
Collecting and interpreting requirements as we'll as building supporting schemas to clarify requirements.
Working experience with automation systems and leading development activities
Proficient in using Jira, Confluence.
Familiar with AWS services and query languages such as Spark, Python, SQL, Snowflake etc
Digital savvy good grasp of the impacts and opportunities that data and technology will create for Operations
Resourceful able to find out what is available, what are the capabilities in order to position solutions for the requirements.
Self-motivated willingness to learn and upskill
Be-bold not afraid to come up with new ideas or offer alternative solutions
