Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Pick up and Delivery: Collecting items from a designated location (e.g., warehouse, store) and delivering them to customers' addresses or other specified locations. Route Planning: Planning and optimizing delivery routes to ensure efficient and timely deliveries. Loading and Unloading: Carefully loading and unloading items, ensuring they are secured to prevent damage during transit. Customer Service: Interacting with customers during delivery, addressing inquiries, and obtaining necessary signatures or confirmations. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and payment collection (if applicable). Vehicle Operation: Operating a delivery vehicle (e.g., motorcycle, scooter, car) safely and responsibly, adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Vehicle Maintenance: Ensuring the delivery vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fueled for daily operations. Reporting: Reporting any issues, delays, or accidents to the supervisor promptly. Required Skills and Qualifications: Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is usually required, and a clean driving record is often preferred. Navigation Skills: Ability to read maps, use GPS devices, and navigate effectively to reach delivery locations. Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize deliveries, and meet deadlines. Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting and carrying packages, and work in various weather conditions. Basic Vehicle Maintenance: Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure and fluid levels.
