Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Staff member to join our team in the pet industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely, safe, and accurate delivery of pet products to customers, veterinary clinics, pet stores, and other businesses. This role requires excellent time management, care in handling live or sensitive pet supplies, and a passion for customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Safely load, transport, and deliver pet products (e.g., food, accessories, grooming tools, medications) to customers and business partners. Handle deliveries that may include fragile or temperature-sensitive items. Provide excellent customer service during each delivery interaction. Maintain delivery logs and obtain proper signatures and documentation. Inspect delivery vehicle regularly and report any issues to the supervisor. Follow assigned delivery routes and time schedules efficiently. Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, especially when handling animal-related items. Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and customer service teams. Assist in warehouse operations when not driving, including inventory organization and product packaging. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Prior delivery or logistics experience preferred (experience in pet or retail industry a plus). Physically fit and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Comfortable handling pet-related products and supplies. Strong communication and time management skills. Friendly, responsible, and customer-focused attitude. Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if required. Work Environment: Combination of warehouse, delivery vehicle, and client locations. May involve exposure to pets or pet allergens. Potential for lifting, standing, or driving for extended periods.
