Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for reliable and punctual

Delivery Boys

to deliver products safely and on time to customers. The ideal candidate should be familiar with local routes, have good customer service skills, and maintain a professional attitude during deliveries. The role includes handling products with care, collecting payments (if required), and ensuring proof of delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver products (e.g., laboratory equipment, reagents, documents, or parcels) to customers in a timely and safe manner
Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules
Collect delivery acknowledgment, signatures, or payments if applicable
Handle products with care, especially fragile or sensitive items like lab reagents or instruments
Ensure proper documentation for each delivery (invoices, challans, delivery notes)
Maintain communication with the dispatch/logistics team throughout the day
Report any delivery issues, delays, or vehicle problems immediately
Keep delivery vehicles clean and well-maintained
Assist in loading and unloading items when required

Qualifications:

Minimum 10th or 12th pass
Valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler driving license (as applicable)
Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role preferred
Basic understanding of mobile apps/GPS for route navigation
Familiarity with local routes and traffic regulations
Good communication and time-management skills

Preferred Skills:

Polite and professional behavior with customers
Ability to handle light paperwork like invoices and receipts
Physically fit to lift and carry packages
Experience in handling sensitive or hazardous materials (for specialized deliveries like lab supplies) is a plus
