Job Description

Key responsibilities Delivery: Transporting and delivering packages, food, or other products to customers in a timely and safe manner. Route planning: Planning and following the most efficient routes to ensure prompt deliveries. Loading and unloading: Safely loading and unloading items from the delivery vehicle. Customer service: Interacting with customers, answering questions, addressing complaints, and obtaining signatures upon delivery. Payment and records: Collecting payments if required, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries and transactions. Vehicle maintenance: Keeping the delivery vehicle clean and performing basic maintenance checks. Safety and compliance: Adhering to all traffic laws and company safety regulations, and reporting any issues like accidents or traffic delays. Required qualifications and skills Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Familiarity with local areas and strong route planning skills. Good time management and organizational abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading duties. Basic math skills for handling cash payments.
