Decision Scientist - Lead

You will work collaboratively with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to conduct data analysis, monitoring, and forecasting. Your role will involve creating logic for implementing strategies, providing requirements to data scientists and technology teams on attribute, model, and platform needs, and ensuring effective communication with global stakeholders to enhance customer experience. As a Grade 14 employee, you will be required to act as a technical expert on complex and specialist subjects. Your expertise will support management in analyzing, interpreting, and applying complex information to contribute to the divisional and corporate goals. Additionally, you may support or lead projects by utilizing your specialized knowledge. Your main responsibilities will include leading the development and implementation of advanced analytical models and algorithms to facilitate decision-making processes. You will apply statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to derive insights from large and intricate datasets. Collaborating with business stakeholders, you will translate their needs into actionable analytical solutions. Furthermore, you will design and conduct experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and interventions, mentor junior team members, and communicate findings to stakeholders through data visualization, reports, and presentations. We are seeking candidates with a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning, demonstrating a history of delivering actionable insights and solutions. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or SQL, along with experience in statistical analysis tools and libraries, is preferred. A strong grasp of quantitative methods, including regression analysis, time series analysis, optimization, and experimental design, is essential. Experience working with Cloud Technologies, particularly Azure, is advantageous. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams are crucial. Prior experience in a senior-level role is desirable.
