About the Role Nium is looking for a Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to lead the architecture, performance, and reliability of our PostgreSQL, MongoDB , RedShift and other database platforms hosted on AWS (primarily RDS/Aurora) . You'll play a critical role in enabling modern, automated, and resilient database operations that support our engineering and analytics teams. This is not your traditional DBA role — we're looking for someone who brings both deep database internals knowledge and modern practices like DBOps , schema versioning , infrastructure-as-code , and database CI/CD . You’ll collaborate closely with DevOps, SREs, and Developers to streamline deployments, improve observability, and build a scalable data platform.
