Job Description

Day Care Teacher - Pre-School

Day Care Teachers

Key Responsibilities

Provide a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for children in our day care program.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods, ensuring their well-being at all times.
Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities.
Observe and assess children's development, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.

Skills & Qualifications

A genuine passion for working with young children and a nurturing demeanor.
Strong understanding of early childhood development principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Creativity in designing engaging educational and recreational activities.
Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
Experience working in a day care or pre-school setting is highly valued.

Work Schedule

This role involves either
9-hour shifts
or
7-hour shifts for Head Teacher profiles
.
