Your future duties and responsibilities

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Databricks workspaces, clusters, jobs, and user accessMonitor performance and usage metrics to optimize cost and efficiencyImplement and manage CI/CD pipelines for notebooks and jobsEnsure platform security, compliance, and governance (including Unity Catalog and access controls)Collaborate with data engineering and DevOps teams to streamline workflowsTroubleshoot and resolve platform issues, ensuring high availabilityStay updated with Databricks releases and recommend upgrades or improvements Required Skills5+ years of experience in cloud data platforms, with at least 4+ years hands-on in Databricks administrationStrong understanding of Spark architecture and cluster managementProficiency in Azure (Databricks on cloud)Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools for Databricks provisioningFamiliarity with Unity Catalog, workspace security, and role-based access controlKnowledge of monitoring tools and logging frameworksExcellent problem-solving and communication skills
