Database Engineer

As a Support Professional in the IT Software Testing & Adhoc domain at our company located in Navi Mumbai, your primary responsibility will be to manage and resolve technical support tickets with 100% SLA adherence. You will ensure the day-to-day functionality of the application in production and maintain effective and proactive communications with both internal and external customers. Your key responsibilities will include: - Testing product-level functionality and new releases, and identifying areas for improvement. - Serving as the technical expert for client software implementations and acting as the primary contact for clients" IT departments. - Troubleshooting database and software problems for client implementations. - Configuring system settings and options, and performing unit/integration/acceptance testing. - Leading testing of interfaces, including reconciling data for clients" systems. - Collaborating with Help Desk personnel to resolve client application issues. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook. - Exposure to SQL Server and proficiency in data definition, manipulation, control, and transactional control. - Experience in SQL administration, including creating and restoring backups, as well as development such as creating stored procedures and complex data queries. - Familiarity with FTP, secure FTP, and PGP. The required qualifications for this position include: - B.Sc/B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization or an advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent. - Preference for candidates with experience in or exposure to any code language. - Customer-facing experience with large customers is preferred. - Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in SQL.
