Job Description

we are looking for a skilled Data Tester with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data validation, ETL/ELT testing, and API services testing. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL skills, proficiency in Python for automation, and experience working with GCP data platforms such as BigQuery and Spanner DB.
This role involves validating real-time and semi-structured data, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and reliable datasets across multiple systems.Key Responsibilities:

Perform data testing and validation across ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and real-time data streams.
Write and execute complex SQL queries for validating large datasets in BigQuery and relational databases.
Validate JSON schemas and XML data structures to ensure format consistency and data integrity.
Conduct MDM (Master Data Management) testing, including Match/Merge/Survivor validation scenarios.
Automate data validation processes using Python scripting and data testing frameworks.
Perform data quality, transformation, and reconciliation testing across various data sources.
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues.
Validate semi-structured and unstructured data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
Analyze and debug data discrepancies using analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work within Agile environments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of testing outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience:

3–5 years of experience in data testing, ETL/ELT, and API testing.
Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and validating large datasets (BigQuery preferred).
Hands-on experience with Python for scripting and automation.
Knowledge of MDM concepts and data validation techniques (Match/Merge/Survivor testing).
Experience validating JSON and XML data formats.
Familiarity with GCP tools such as BigQuery and Spanner DB.
Experience with data quality testing tools and frameworks.
Strong analytical and debugging abilities for resolving complex data issues.
Exposure to semi-structured and unstructured data validation techniques.
