Internship duration : 3 months

Note : Based on internship performance it will be converted into full - time

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an expert in machine learning to help us extract value from our data. You will lead all the processes from data collection, cleaning, and pre-processing, to training models and deploying them to production.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about artificial intelligence and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Understanding business objectives and developing models that help to achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress

2. Managing available resources such as hardware, data, and personnel so that deadlines are met

3. Analyzing the ML algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem and ranking them by their success probability

4. Exploring and visualizing data to gain an understanding of it, then identifying differences in data distribution that could affect performance when deploying the model in the real world

5. Research and development project guidance to students

6. Organize the workshop for engineering students

7. Support for training and development

8. Verifying data quality, and/or ensuring it via data cleaning

9. Supervising the data acquisition process if more data is needed

10. Finding available datasets online that could be used for training

11.Defining validation strategies

12. Defining the pre-processing or feature engineering to be done on a given dataset

13. Defining data augmentation pipelines

14. Training models and tuning their hyper parameters

15. Analyzing the errors of the model and designing strategies to overcome them

16. Deploying models to production

SKILLS:

1.Proficiency with a deep learning framework such as Tens or Flow or Keras

2. Proficiency with Python and basic libraries for machine learning such as sci-kit-learn and pandas

3. Expertise in visualizing and manipulating big datasets

4. Proficiency with Open CV

5. Ability to select hardware to run an ML model with the required latency.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

6. He / She should possess good Communication and Presentation skills.

7. He / She should be a good performer. 

8. He / She should have good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

9. He / She should be proactive in identifying problems and suggesting solutions.
