Data Science Manager

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visas consulting division, serving Visas clients (including card issuers, acquirers and merchants) and solving their strategic problems focused on improving performance and profitability. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, payments, data analytics, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA drives high impact and tangible financial results. Managed Services (VMS) is one arm of VCA focused on delivering capability and expertise to clients.

What a DS Manager will do

The DS Manager will serve as an individual contributor and a member of the VCA Data Labs team, reporting to the Data Labs Lead AP. This position will be based in Visas India office in Bengaluru.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage and deliver analytics projects from conception to completion with actionable insights and recommendations
• Support defining methodology, creating and executing on the data framework with appropriate methodologies
• Clearly communicate the findings and recommendations from analysis, drive deployment and implementation of analytics solutions, and track business value impact
• Work with VisaNet (i.e., Visa s transaction data), clients and 3rd party data sources to create advanced data-driven solutions and dashboards
• Actively seek out opportunities to innovate by using non-traditional data and new modelling techniques fit for purpose to the needs of our clients
• Engage with, and manage internal stakeholders across different data projects in AP
