Job Description

The Data & Quality Analyst supports the delivery of high-quality, consistent, and reliable operational data across all service areas. Working under the direction of the Data Performance & Quality Lead, this role is responsible for conducting data audits, identifying and resolving data inconsistencies, supporting interface validation, and contributing to continuous improvement in data governance and reporting accuracy. The role works closely with frontline teams, IT, and the Product function to maintain and improve data integrity, drive automation, and support mobilisation readiness through accurate and validated data.
  • Perform regular data validation checks across systems to identify anomalies, gaps, or inconsistencies
  • Conduct operational data audits and provide insight into data quality issues and trends
  • Support mobilisation readiness by validating product data and ensuring correct configuration ahead of go-live
  • Work with operational teams to monitor and improve data input accuracy at source
  • Assist in the monitoring and resolution of data integration issues between Axis and client systems
  • Contribute to the development of reporting tools, dashboards, and exception reports
  • Support the automation of routine data handling, cleansing, and exception flagging tasks
  • Analyse data to provide actionable insights that support service performance improvements
  • Maintain clear documentation of processes, findings, and outcomes from audits and investigations
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of data governance standards, guidelines, and training resources
  • Support bespoke reporting requests and data investigations from internal or external stakeholders
Essential Knowledge & Expertise
  • Good understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and operational reporting principles
  • Familiarity with data auditing techniques, root cause identification, and issue resolution
  • Knowledge of data integration workflows and system interfaces (internal and external)
  • Awareness of compliance and data accuracy requirements in regulated service environments
  • Experience using reporting or dashboarding tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or equivalent)

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and present clear recommendations
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and engage non-technical users
  • Proactive, quality-driven, and results-focused
Experience Requirements
  • Experience in a data, quality assurance, reporting, or systems analysis role
  • Background in handling and interpreting operational data from multiple sources
  • Exposure to social housing, maintenance, or service-based environments is advantageous
  • Experience supporting mobilisation projects or system readiness activities is desirable
