The Data Quality Analyst at iResearch Services plays a critical role to guarantee the consistency and dependability of the data from market research project surveys. To maintain client-ready quality standards, they must validate, clean, and quality check the survey datasets. To provide reliable insights, the position serves as a link between operations, client-centric data, and analytics.
Responsibilities
Conduct end-to-end data validation, cleaning, and consistency data checks across quantitative and qualitative survey research datasets.
Verify survey logic, skip patterns, quotas, and respondent authenticity to ensure high-quality, reliable data. Create and run QC (in Excel, SPSS) to detect outliers, duplicates, or anomalies in large datasets. Collaborate with wider teams to align data outputs with questionnaires, reports, and client deliverables. Maintain data documentation for tracker studies. Support automation of recurring QC tasks for faster data turnaround. Ensure data privacy, compliance, and accuracy standards are met across projects and markets. Liaise with Fieldwork and Analytics teams to monitor sample quality, respondent profiling, and data completeness. Continuously improve data quality processes, tools, and best practices across the research lifecycle.
Requirements
Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
Hands-on experience with SPSS Syntax for data cleaning. Familiarity with survey and data platforms. Experience working with data and reading it. Knowledge of data weighting, sampling logic, and respondent validation techniques. Attention to detail with a structured and logical problem-solving mindset. Strong analytical ability to identify inconsistencies, anomalies, or trends in data. Effective communication and documentation skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and data sources simultaneously.
