Job Description

A Data Quality Analyst must ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the data collected through surveys and other research methods. They validate and clean datasets, identify anomalies or gaps, and implement quality control processes throughout the research lifecycle. The role is crucial in delivering credible insights to clients by maintaining high data integrity. They also must collaborate with project managers, researchers, and analysts to ensure that data meets both internal standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

Validate survey logic and structure to ensure accurate data collection.
Monitor incoming data for inconsistencies, errors, or unusual patterns. Perform data cleaning and transformation using tools like Excel, SPSS, etc Develop and maintain data quality checks and automation scripts for efficiency. Collaborate with research and operations teams to resolve data-related issues. Ensure alignment of data with project objectives and client requirements. Prepare data quality reports and provide actionable recommendations where needed. Cross check sample representativeness and response integrity across key demographics. Support processing and other reporting teams by delivering clean and structured data. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance data accuracy and reliability.

Requirements

Proficiency in data cleansing, validation, and preparation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Ability to analyse, explore, and segment datasets for actionable insights. Strong knowledge of statistics and statistical packages such as Excel OR SPSS. Experience in creating and applying algorithms to identify trends, outliers, and errors in large datasets. Familiarity with survey platforms (e.g., Decipher, Qualtrics, Confirmit) and understanding of survey logic and flow. Expertise in data visualization and creating dashboards using tools. Competence in visual storytelling with data. Knowledge of sampling methods. Proven experience in data analysis and data quality management within market research. Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities. Solution-oriented mindset. Some expertise in AI. High accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong team-working skills and the ability to collaborate with project managers, researchers, and technical teams. Comfortable managing multiple projects. Comfortable working flexible hours.
