Job Summary: The Data Quality Analyst at Grade 7 will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data across various platforms. This role involves analyzing data quality issues, implementing quality control measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive data quality assessments and audits to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement data quality frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to define data quality requirements and metrics.
• Utilize data profiling tools and techniques to monitor data quality and report findings.
• Design and execute data cleansing and validation processes to enhance data accuracy.
• Proactively monitor processes to identify deviations, ensuring timely escalation and reporting to management and stakeholders.
• Analyse defects from regular operations and correlate them with various datasets in Data Quality to derive actionable insights.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data quality management.

• A strong interest in data quality and a foundational understanding of data concepts.
• Familiarity with basic database concepts and a willingness to learn SQL and data analysis techniques.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn to interpret data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused attitude and a desire to collaborate effectively. Familiarity with data visualization tools (like Tableau or Power BI) or spreadsheet software (like Excel) is a plus.

Qualifications:

• A full-time MBA or postgraduate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• 2 years of experience in data quality management or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data profiling and data quality tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
• Knowledge of data governance principles and practices is a plus.
• General Fundamentals Main table knowledge is an added advantage

Preferred Skills:

• Basic Knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Certifications in data quality or data management are desirable.

Working Conditions:

Preferred to work in any shift timings as per the need of the General Fundamentals Dataset, for which quality is evaluated
