C&RS (Credit & Risk Solutions) is part of S&P Global Market Intelligence. We provide industry-leading risk analytics solutions to sell and buy-side institutions within the financial markets. This role is for a software developer within the Risk as a Service product team, building a suite of React/Typescript UI applications and services as part of a Cloud hosted solution. Responsibilities and Impact: Complete SDLC: design, development, testing, and support of solutions Be delivery-focused, have a passion for performance, and enjoy offering new ideas and approaches Produce high-quality work, always following quality standards such as unit testing, integration tests, and documented code Take ownership of development tasks, including design, development, testing, code reviews, and documentation Work with distributed teams in multiple locations worldwide What We're Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of React/UI developer experience -Typescript preferred Experience with tools and technologies including Redux, Node, Docker, PostgreSQL, AWS Highly collaborative - an affinity for solving complex problems through dialogue with team members This position requires being present in the office twice a week Additional Preferred Qualifications: Curiosity - always seeking the why's and how's in the interest of continuous learning and the mastery of a craft Comfortable with ambiguity - can begin to explore and solve complex problems even when the problem and solution are not well-defined A bias to action - a willingness to jump right in with an emphasis on producing
