You will work alongside a team of developers to deliver technology solutions, leveraging your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand business requirements and provide quality solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate requirements into clear data modelling specifications. - Design and implement high-quality data models that optimize data access, storage, and analysis, ensuring alignment to BCDM. - Create comprehensive documentation of data models, including entity relationship diagrams, data dictionaries, and usage guidelines. - Collaborate with data engineers to test and validate data models. - Obtain sign-off from key stakeholders on logical and physical data models. - Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of data models and solutions for efficient data retrieval and processing. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in partnering with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate requirements into data modelling specifications. - Proficiency in designing and implementing high-quality data models. - Strong documentation skills for maintaining data models, including entity relationship diagrams and data dictionaries. - Collaboration skills with data engineers for testing and validating data models. - Ability to monitor and optimize data model performance for efficient data retrieval and processing. This role is based out of Pune. **Purpose of the role:** To design, implement, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that meet business data/process and technology requirements. This involves using designs and data strategies across a wide selection of platforms. **Accountabilities:** - Analyze and document business requirements to translate them into data models aligned with organizational goals. - Develop and maintain data dictionaries and glossaries to define data elements and their usage. - Monitor data usage patterns to identify opportunities for data optimization and improvement. - Define data architecture standards, principles, and strategies. - Produce logical designs in relevant subject areas, identifying common components. - Implement architectures and resolve design-related issues.
