Data Modeler

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all activities defining client business data assets.
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models using

  Visio/ERwin

  .
• Apply

  data warehouse design principles

  including

  dimensional modeling, data vault, star schema, and snowflake schema

  .
• Create and present

  mapping documents

  for ETL and testing teams.
• Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to gather/validate requirements and secure sign-offs.
• Influence and contribute to the

  Data & Analytics strategy

  .
• Conduct business data modeling and enable enterprise data management.
• Ensure data security, governance, and improved datahub performance.
• Manage multiple initiatives/projects end-to-end.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum

  8 years of IT experience

  , with at least

  3 years in data architecture / information system design

  .
• Proven experience designing and implementing information/database structures.
• Hands-on expertise in

  Oracle database development

  (PL/SQL, performance tuning, schema design).
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with

  Azure Data Factory (ADF)

  for ETL/ELT.
• Proficiency with

  ERwin, Visio, or equivalent modeling tools

  .
• Strong leadership and people management skills with cross-cultural collaboration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

✅ Must-Have Skills

1. Data Modeling Expertise

   – Transactional, dimensional, star schema, snowflake schema, data vault.

2. Oracle Database

   – SQL/PLSQL, schema design, performance tuning.

3. Azure Data Factory (ADF)

   – Hands-on ETL/ELT experience.

4. Data Warehouse Design

   – End-to-end design and solution architecture.

5. Tools

   – Proficiency with

   ERwin, Visio

   .

6. Experience

   – 8+ years IT experience (3+ in data architecture/design).

7. Soft Skills

   – Strong leadership, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and communication.
