About the Role:

Data Modeler

Key Responsibilities:

Work on data modeling in the context of
large-scale data migration
from structured (legacy) to semi/unstructured (modern) data platforms.
Design data flows that lead to a
gold layer
for BI, AI, and reporting use cases.
Create logical, physical, and ER models to meet business-specific retail needs.
Collaborate with business teams to define retail-specific KPIs.
Understand SAP data tables and entities from a
business perspective
.
Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure smooth ETL workflows.

Must-Have Skills:

Prior experience in
retail industry
(mandatory)
Hands-on
Databricks
experience for business data modeling
Strong knowledge of
logical, physical, and ER models
Solid understanding of
ETL & data warehousing concepts
Experience defining
retail KPIs
Understanding of
SAP table structures & business data mapping
Exposure to
data engineering fundamentals
(pipelines, orchestration, data quality)
