Job Profile: Data Entry Operator (DEO)Position Overview

The Data Entry Operator (DEO) is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining company data across various systems such as ERP, CRM, MIS tools, finance software, and project documentation systems. In a real estate company, the DEO ensures that customer, sales, inventory, procurement, billing, and project-related data is updated correctly, enabling smooth operations and reliable reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry & Maintenance

  • Enter and update customer records, sales leads, project progress, financial entries, and procurement details in company systems.
  • Ensure timely and accurate input of data in CRM, ERP, or MIS databases.
  • Verify, review, and cross-check entered data for accuracy and completeness.

Documentation & Records Management

  • Maintain digital and physical records in an organized manner.
  • Assist in scanning, uploading, and archiving documents such as contracts, agreements, and invoices.
  • Support departments in retrieving data or documents when required.

Reporting Support

  • Generate basic reports and summaries from data systems for internal use.
  • Assist MIS/Data Analysts and department managers by providing updated raw data.
  • Highlight discrepancies or missing data to respective teams.

Coordination

  • Work closely with sales, CRM, procurement, HR, finance, and project teams to ensure updated and consistent data across departments.
  • Follow up with concerned teams to collect and update missing data.

Compliance & Accuracy

  • Ensure data entered is in line with company standards and confidentiality policies.
  • Maintain accuracy levels as per company-defined KPIs.
  • Support audit and compliance teams with required data entries and documentation.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic ERP/CRM systems.
  • Good typing speed and accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Basic communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12th Pass / Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or Computer Applications.
  • Certification/Diploma in Computer Applications or Data Entry (preferred).
  • 0–3 years of experience as Data Entry Operator / Office Assistant, preferably in real estate, finance, or service industries.

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Accuracy rate of data entered (% error-free entries).
  • Timeliness of data updates.
  • Number of discrepancies/errors identified and corrected.
  • Compliance with confidentiality and company data policies.
  • Contribution to smooth functioning of MIS and departmental reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹11,591.06 - ₹35,525.76 per month
