DATA ENTRY OPERATOR - SHOE UPPER COMPANY

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Data Entry Operator to support the Planning Department in a busy shoe upper manufacturing unit. The role involves accurate data entry of production plans, material usage, order schedules, and other manufacturing-related information. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and a basic understanding of production processes in footwear manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter daily production data (e.g., cutting, stitching, assembling) into ERP or planning software
• Update job cards, work orders, and material requisition data
• Maintain production schedules, order tracking, and delivery timelines
• Support planners in generating reports for raw material requirements and work progress
• Coordinate with store, stitching, and QC departments to gather and verify data
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production output
• Help in maintaining planning records, shift logs, and audit documentation
• Flag discrepancies or delays in data to the planning supervisor

Required Qualifications:

• B.SC computer science / B.C.A ( ANY DEGREE)
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in footwear or garment industry)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations
• Familiarity with ERP systems or production tracking tools is an advantage
• Fast typing speed with accuracy
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of shoe upper manufacturing processes (cutting, stitching, lining, etc.)
• Knowledge of inventory and production planning terms
• Basic knowledge of quality control documentation
• Ability to read and interpret work orders or BOMs (Bill of Materials)

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
